This is the Place Heritage State Park.
Admission is $5.00 per person. Pioneer dancing and refreshments will

Romney has written a couple of wonderful songs about
Julie Rogers’ paintings. One of the songs is about Joseph Angell
Young as a rescuer of the Hand cart group in Julie’s
Blue Angel painting. He and his group will be performing at the
Brigham’s Ball event.

The annual Young Family Temple
Night will be held on July 28th, 2011. We will be meeting at 5:00 pm
in the Chapel of the
Salt Lake Temple for a special family fireside prior to attending
the 6:00 pm session. This event is cosponsored by the John Young Sr. &
Brigham Young Family organizations.

Thursday through
Saturday, August 25-27, 2011 -The
Sons of the Utah Pioneers will be holding their
National Convention this year in Salt Lake City. This years
convention will have a particular focus on Brigham Young. Brigham
Young Family Association Immediate Past-president Mary Ellen Elggren
will be speaking the evening of August 26th from 5:30 to 8:30 with
Gracia Jones from the Joseph Smith Jr. Family Association.
